
Pacific Rubiales is a publicly traded company that specializes on heavy crude and gas trading. In order to transport its heavy crudes through the Colombian pipeline system onto its loading terminals and ports, it buys thinners such as natural gasoline, naphtha, and light sweet local crudes.
In the international markets it sells: Rubiales (12.5°API, 1.275%S), Castilla Blend (18.8°API, 1.97%S), and Vasconia Blend (24.3°API, 0.83%S) crudes. Meanwhile, in the local market it sells Natural Gas and Rubiales crude for industrial or bunker usage.
